Thursday 23 April 2015 saw the premiere of the eagerly anticipated Capreolus Club. Formed as an exclusive members club for deer stalkers and hunters of large game, the Capreolus Club welcomed amongst its guests a host of industry professionals and prospective members.
On display in Annabel’s bijou private dining room, were a selection of rifles from gun makers William Evans and quality optics from Swarovski. Annabel’s staff bustled about the Club offering guests Champagne and choice canapes, as the evening jollied along amongst excited talk of guns and hunting.

Along with prospective members, forming an important part of the event were representatives from BASC, Swarovski, London gun makers Holland & Holland and Rigby.
As the evening progressed, Club chair Peter Jones outlined his ambition in seeing the Club encapsulate the highest standards in large game hunting, with a strong ethos of encouraging a betterment of species. Peter’s speech was followed by fellow director James Mott who presented some of the clubs forthcoming events.
Rhino Vita-Dart hunting, driven boar, running deer at the British Sporting Rifle Club and trips to the Highlands are all on offer to Capreolus Club members in the coming months, along with future social networking events at other prestigious London venues.
