GMK anniversary helps the heroes

At an event marking GMK’s 40th anniversary, the company presented a cheque for £22,000 to Bryn Parry OBE, founder of Help for Heroes.

GMK, the official UK distributor for a range of brands including Sako, Tikka, Beretta, Burris and Leupold, raised money by selling a limited series of 100 Beretta 687 EELLs with a customised Help for Heroes engraving.

The special occasion, which took place on 6 October, was attended by Dr Franco Gussalli Beretta and hosted by GMK’s Waktare family.

Karl Waktare, managing director of GMK, said: “I’m proud to stand here today and celebrate GMK’s 40th anniversary. Over the past 40 years my father and our team of loyal staff have built this business to become what it is today.

“We now look forward to the future and will continue with hard work and dedication to our customers’ needs.”
