After the extremely popular Pred9X, Lightforce have now released their newest addition to the Huntsman series: Pred3X “Ratter”.
With a genuine CREE LED and a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) specifically chosen for its ability to produce a neutral white light, this compact weapon-mounted light allows the user to enjoy a clearer object distinction and colour definition for optimal target acquisition, without the glare often found in standard LED lights.
The high-powered LED has a life-span of 50,000 hours, and the unit boasts a toughened ultra clear glass lens and a specially treated aluminium reflector, ensuring maximum light transmission and a fixed focus beam.
Two fully charged batteries (provided) will suffice for 90 minutes of maximum light intensity, while the unit can also be operated with a single battery for a shorter length of time, or for extended periods without any batteries, when connected to an external power source, such as through a mobile phone or tablet charger (micro 5 pin USB to standard USB cable included). It can also operate while charging.
Lightweight and compact, it is made of billet 6061 grade aluminium, and it can be easily mounted thanks to the Picatinny/Weaver quick release mechanism. It is also available with or without a picatinny rail style scope mount adaptor (1″ or 30mm to fit Pred3X and Pred9X).
