New digital shooting mag

0601Blaze Publishing has launched iShoot, an interactive shooting magazine covering all aspects of shooting in the UK and abroad and described as “the next generation” of shooting title.

Edited by Pete Carr, the editor-in-chief of Sporting Rifle and Modern Gamekeeping and director-presenter of theshootingshow.tv, and Wes Stanton, editor of Clay Shooting and managing director of Blaze Publishing, iShoot is a monthly publication free to read online or as a download on tablet devices.

Released on the Glorious Twelfth, the first issue includes pheasant drives at the Beckerings Park estate, grouse at Farndale Moor, driven mouflon and boar in Germany, pigeon shooting with Geoff Garrod, geese in Orkney and South African wildfowling. The title also includes reviews, event reports and special interest features.

Where iShoot stands out is its interactivity. Features are supplemented by videos, picture galleries and bonus content, and the title boasts a modern design tailored specifically for online and tablet viewing.

Though it focuses on shotgun sports, the magazine samples all forms of shooting, including rifle fox control with Sporting Rifle’s Gary Green and pest control with Airgun Shooter’s Mat Manning.
