In 1992, Leica created the first Geovid, which was also the first pair of binoculars with a built-in rangefinder. At this year’s Shot Show in Las Vegas, the company revealed the advanced Geovid HD-B binoculars. With an Advanced Ballistic Compensation (ABC) ballistic system and integrated micro-SD card, the Geovid HD-B binos can store user-specific ballistic data for heightened shot accuracy. In 8×42 and 10×42 specifications, the Geovid HD-B binos take influencing factors like temperature, barometric pressure and angle of declination into account. They also calculate required elevation adjustment on top of measuring the distance, making them ideal for use with a classic reticle.
Price: 8×42 £2,650, 10×42 £2,700
