Scottish land reform recommendations are “misleading and destructive”, according to sporting organisations.
A review group called for a limit on the area of land that can be held by private owners, as well as a review on tax exemptions for sporting rates on estates.
It also suggested that muirburn causes problems for the fire service – something Scottish Land and Estates has spoken out against.
The Scottish Countryside Alliance said it had “grave concerns” about the report.
