BDS membership fee falls

The British Deer Society has reduced the price of its combined membership and insurance, in order to tempt more deer enthusiasts to join and increase the charity’s accessibility. Dropping its combined fees from £71.50 to £68, the revised amount is a direct response to member feedback.

The membership price will entitle the holder to the popular quarterly Deer journal, events, competitions and exclusive training. The insurance package for recreational deerstalkers includes up to £10 million liability cover, offering humane deer dispatch and other sporting cover for activities such as wildfowling, vermin control and fishing. Policyholders can also make up to £5,000 per annum from recreational venison sales.
