British Shooting Show launches a second event in Liverpool

The British Shooting Show has launched a second event, taking place at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool and set to debut in the autumn of 2020.

Following a similar model to the established British Shooting Show at the NEC, ‘BSS Liverpool’ will take advantage of the Exhibition Centre’s 8,100sq/m of exhibition space, split between three equally sized halls. The centre benefits from direct rail links to Liverpool Lime Street station and flights to John Lennon Airport.

A representative of the show organisers said: “We have been hearing for quite a while that another venue and another show, a bit later in the year, would be a good idea.

“A lot of the industry wanted it, so we looked into it and came up with Liverpool. We’ve got things firmly in place now, but whatever we do with the British Shooting Show is always industry led and we are there to serve the industry.

“As soon as you arrive through those door you are in the show. There won’t be any arenas or rifle ranges but we will have large atrium areas and viewing platforms. It is an ideal venue. The show will purely be the industry; manufacturers supported by the retailers and distributors.”

Meanwhile, details for the BSS’s third outing at the NEC have been confirmed – it will take place on 14-16 February next year, with free parking for visitors once again secured.
