The 2013 Countryside Alliance Awards – or ‘The Rural Oscars’ as they’re often known – are now open to nominations.
They celebrate the unique characters, heritage, communities and produce of the countryside, with nominations spanning four categories: Local food, village shop/ post office, butcher, and start-up (for businesses operating for two years and under).
