Fin and Game are “absolutely delighted” to announce that they have become a member of 1% For The Planet.
This means that every purchase you make from Fin and Game, 1% of every sale will go directly back to organisations which are working to protect our planet.
Fin and Game say that they “are determined to play our part in protecting our natural environment and we recognise the importance it plays to our industry.
“With rivers, hills and moors functioning as our playgrounds it is vital that we not only work to use them in a responsible and respectful manner but also, work to manage them for future generations to enjoy.”
Fin and Game also say that they have always tried to support eco-conscious brands such as Costa Del Mar and Patagonia but believe their new membership with 1% For The Planet allows them to take one step further.
They concluded: “We chose to join 1% For the Planet as it ensures all our environmental giving is credible and respected. It is a globally recognised brand that has directed hundreds of millions of dollars to environmental non-profit organisations around the world and has big plans to see this continue and grow.”
What is 1% For The Planet?
It all started when two businessmen met and bonded over their shared love for the outdoors. Realizing their responsibility to protect our planet, they decided to give 1% of their sales back to the environment—whether or not they were profitable.
In 2002, Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, created 1% for the Planet and started a global movement.
