World and European Casting champion Hywel Morgan will impart his passion, enthusiasm and knowledge at the 2020 West of England Game Fair.

The event, which celebrates its 25th anniversary, takes place at the Royal Bath & West Showground in Somerset on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd March, and will provide visitors with the opportunity to see Hywel Morgan, one of the most popular demonstrators on the show scene.

This years’ fly casting demonstration will be presented by World and European Casting Champion Hywel Morgan who will dispel the myths and explain how easy it is to take up this wonderful sport. Fly fishing has been identified as one of the best past times to de-stress, enjoy fresh air and spend time in the wonderful countryside we have to offer in the U.K.

Hywel will be joined by his champion daughter Tanya who shows that fly casting is for everyone. If you are a total beginner wanting to learn how to start fly fishing or a seasoned angler why not “catch” their demo as they will educate as well as entertain showing that fishing is fun and a great way to Hywel has amassed many titles in his career, including World Games Accuracy Casting Champion, European Distance Casting Champion, European Silver Medallist (Accuracy) and is the World Record holder for multiple casting (66 rods cast simultaneously), to name but a few

Individually he has been one of the most successful competitors from all the home countries, gaining results in silver, 4th, 7th and 10th places. You will also be able to meet Hywel in the Fishing Area in the Sedgemoor Hall plus a variety of companies selling a selection of rods and general equipment; outerwear and associations.

There will be a variety of competitions in the fishing arena including Velcro fly fishing and magnetic coarse fishing. England Ladies Fly Fishing will also be attending the event for the first time.

This fantastic feature is one of many at this event and all are combined with an incredible countryside shopping experience.
