Ammo manufacturer Norma has given the Great British Shooting Awards a big boost by announcing it will sponsor the Professional Stalker of the Year award at the second annual Awards.
Norma, distributed in the UK by RUAG, will sponsor the Professional Stalker of the Year category.
The GBSAs will once again take place at The British Shooting Show and will give crucial recognition to the products and people that have driven the industry forward. Set to grow for 2020, the awards have already announced three new award categories as well as sponsorships from Pulsar, Ariat and now Norma.
With a manufacturing history stretching back to 1902, Norma produces rounds in over 100 calibres and is one of the most recognised ammunition brands in the UK and globally.
Known and used by stalkers up and down the country, Norma are a natural fit for the Professional Stalker of the Year category. Chris Dalton, of South Ayrshire Stalking, was the first ever recipient of this award at the 2019 event.
“We are thrilled to be able to sponsor the Professional Stalker Of the Year award at the Great British Shooting Awards 2020. This is a great way to acknowledge the hard work of those who strive for excellence within our industry. With many years of experience supplying the UK gun trade RUAG Ammotec UK and Norma are proud to support the future of our countryside.”
Other winners at the inaugural awards included BASC, who picked up the award for Outstanding Contribution to Conservation; Sportsman Gun Centre, who won the Retailer of the Year award; and George Digweed, who won the Lifetime Achievement award.
