The British Shooting Show will run over three days from Friday to Sunday in 2014.
Organisers hope that, by extending the event to three days, it will alleviate any overcrowding and congestion problems like those experienced on the Saturday of this year’s show.
It will also give visitors more flexibility on which day, or days, to visit, with dates already set for 14-16 February 2014.
Other improvements include easier access between all of the halls, a better show layout, and an additional main entrance for quicker entry into the show.
In terms of general access, the show promises to have more road signage, reactive traffic management and a more structured parking plan with extra capacity.
Organisers said: “We freely admit that we were overwhelmed by this year’s support for the show and it was immediately apparent that big changes would need to be made for 2014.
“We want the British Shooting Show to provide the best possible experience for visitors.”
