Streamlight Onboard For Awards

Streamlight have confirmed sponsorship of the Retailer Of The Year category at the Great British Shooting Awards which returns to the British Shooting Show in 2020. 

The Philadelphia-based lighting company are a leading provider of high-performance lighting devices offering a range of high-quality portable lighting tools especially for law enforcement, military and sporting goods. 

Operating under the tagline ‘Brilliant Thinking’ Streamlight are already established in the US, and are now setting their sights on the European market. President and CEO, Ray Sharrah commented: “Streamlight is a pioneer, in rechargeable flashlight and we are revolutionising LED lights, making them brighter, more compact and incredibly durable.

The Great British Shooting Awards will help to highlight their knowledge and experience combined with their technical capabilities. Future Field Sports, will soon announced the shortlist for the Retailer of the Year Category, along with 13 other categories. 

Nominations for the 2020 shortlists closed on 31 August and are currently being verified by the panel of industry experts; Tim Bonner (Countryside Alliance CEO), Simon West (Executive Director of the GTA), Peter Carr (Group-editor-in-chief of Future’s field sports titles), Geoff Garrod (Trustee of the NGO), Andrew Grainger (Project Manager at Scottish Country Sports Tourism Group) and Iain Parker (CPSA CEO).

Dedicated categories will showcase the achievements of the people and products that have had a positive effect on the industry. Public voting for the 2020 Great British Shooting Awards begins on 1 October 2019, when the shortlists for all 14 categories are announced.
