Pulsar has launched the UK’s first front mounted thermal riflescope add-on, allowing you to turn your everyday riflescope into a TI unit.

Night vision add-ons have become common in recent years but this is the first add-on using thermal technology, something that has transformed the foxing world since its release to the civilian market.

Boasting a 1,200-metre detection range, the Pulsar Core FXD50 attaches to the scope using a cover ring adaptor and can switch from rifle to rifle without losing zero. A high-resolution display is complemented by a 50hz screen refresh rate, ensuring the best possible chance of retaining sight picture on your quarry.

The Core can also be used as a thermal monocular for spotting and wildlife observation.

The unit’s retail price has been set at £3,399.95. For more information contact distributor Thomas Jacks (01789 264100; www.thomasjacks.co.uk) or retailer Scott Country (01556 503587; www.scottcountry.co.uk).
