SPONSORED: Supporting the Gamekeepers Welfare Trust

This shooting season Collins Nets will be raising money for The Gamekeepers Welfare Trust through the sales of their Beaters Flags.

50p from every beaters flag sold from the 1st of October to the 20th December will be donated and they hope to raise around £800-£1000.

The Gamekeepers Welfare Trust exists to support gamekeepers, stalkers and ghillies, and their dependents past and present. By providing financial grants for gamekeepers, stalkers and ghillies and their families in times of hardship, ill health and retirement.

Small grants are available for young people making gamekeeping their career. The helpline is a key part of the service, providing a confidential listening service with information and support on a wide variety of issues including health, retirement, redundancy, housing and employment issues.

This year, perhaps more than ever before, people have faced big challenges. The GWT’s campaign #gwtgettingthroughtheweek was set up in April to help anyone who is feeling the pressure, in work, at home or just with the situation we are all living with at the moment.
