Best English gunmaker Purdey has unveiled its new Bolt Action Rifle, which it says brings a new level of accuracy to the design thanks to its titanium chassis. Running from the pistol grip to the forend, the chassis supports a free-floating barrel and is unseen when the rifle is assembled.
An all-British product, the rifle is based around a double square bridge controlled feed action made in Purdey’s London workshop. Available in all standard and some wildcat chamberings, the rifle is available from £25,000 plus VAT.
James Horne, chairman of Purdey, said, “The team at Purdey is exceptionally proud of the new Bolt-Action Rifle. The design combines the essence of Purdey’s two hundred years of gunmaking excellence with the very latest technology and an accuracy that our forebears would have been envious of.”
