Duncan Thomas, a former wildlife crime liaison officer with Lancashire Constabulary, has joined the British Association for Shooting and Conservation. As regional officer for north-west England, Mr Thomas will be based in Preston, working with BASC members in Lancashire, Cumbria, Cheshire, and the Isle of Man. BASC’s northern regional director Alasdair Mitchell said: “Duncan is well-known in shooting and conservation circles… and we are pleased to have him on board. His knowledge and enthusiasm for shooting sports together with his technical expertise will be a positive addition to the BASC north of England team.”
