Luckman takes the Commonwealth

In the follow-up event to the Imperial Meeting, the Commonwealth Shooting Federation Championships, it was one of the more successful competitors from the Imperial who again topped the leaderboard. David Luckman, fresh from his impressive double wins in the St George’s and Grand Aggregate, was one off the pace after 600 yards, with South Africa’s Coetzee yet to stray outside the bull. But Luckman’s unmatched 73 at 1,000 yards catapulted him into first place, just one ahead of Coetzee who had shot a 71.
