The Game Fair: One month to go

The UK’s biggest celebration of the countryside, The Game Fair, comes to Hatfield House on 26-28 July.

Kicking off with a 61-gun salute, this year’s Game Fair will debut a host of new features when it welcomes 120,000 visitors and nearly 1,000 exhibitors to the venue just north of London.

Top brands like Holland and Holland, John Rigby & Co. and many others will have their latest gear for you to get your hands on at Gunmakers’ Row – and you can also test out airguns and shotguns on the ranges.

You’ll be able to pre-pay for your shooting too, with £12.50 (for adults) getting you use of a gun, all cartridges, eye and ear protection and 10 clays.

The lesson can be tailored to beginners or more advanced shots, and for a little extra, you can even use a ShotKam to record your shooting.

Also appearing at this year’s Game Fair will be the Shooting Village, hosted by Best Fox Call. Giving smaller fieldsports-themed companies a chance to attend, it’ll also feature Best Deer Call, Tom’s Targets, Tidepool, Night Vision UK, Moss Leather Goods, Bailey’s Shooting & Clothing and Blue Mountain Forge.
