The Peltor™ SportTac™ is an intelligent, active hearing protector specially developed for hunters and shooters.
It offers active level-dependent protection, which means that protection is scaled up as the frequency of dangerous sound increases. The Peltor™ SportTac™ will attenuate dangerous sound by up to 29dB at higher frequencies, but will still allow safe sounds such as speech and environment or animal sounds through to the ears.
This safe sound can also be amplified to different volume levels, meaning the Peltor™ SportTac™ becomes particularly useful on the range or in training when instructions must be heard above gunshots, or when listening out for signs of wildlife when deer stalking for example.
